We are having new parent meetings for parents that are intersted in enrolling in the 2008-2009 school year.  If any of these dates do not work for you, please keep checking back for future dates. We will be having futher meetings during the summer/fall.

We need one zone exemption form for each student applying. You can fax your form to 742-1188 or email to Margie. You can also snail mail to our office located at 400 W. Northern Lights Blvd. Suite 9, Anchorage, AK 99503 Please remember to note your email address on the form. We will need one for each student enrolling in our program.

Course Title: Introduction to Music Theory.

This introductory music theory course is designed to create a lifelong intellectual framework for gaining and retaining musical knowledge within the learner. We achieve this by creating a combined theoretical and historical overview of our American and European music.

We are well into April and that means a couple of things:

- Spring is here (finally!)  

- The due date to submit your final requisitions and reimbursement requests is upon us: 4 pm Friday, April 25.

 

 

 

Our congratulations go out to Kayla Randt, who is the 2008 Frontier Spelling Bee Champion!

Kayla will be participating in the 2008 Scripps/Anchorage Daily News bee on February 29th at the Performing Arts Center.  Spelling bee winners from all around the state will be there. 

Hayley Sites is our runner up and will the the alternate if Kayla is not able to make the State bee.

Again, our congratulations to both girls and good luck to Kayla on the State bee!

 

 

 

 

 

On January 12, the Frontier team, Tsunami's and Frontier 2, participated in the Alaska Robot Rendezvous at the UAA campus.  There more than 50 teams from all around Alaska participating.  The Tsunamis and Frontier 2 worked hard on their robot project practicing here in the office weekly.

The students were judged on four different areas.  They were judged in the technical category, which consisted of robot design and robot performance.  They were also judged on team presentation which consisted of a project presentation and teamwork.

It was a long and exciting day for all!  Congratuations on a good showing Tsunamis and Frontier 2 teams
